Sri Lanka-India U-19 Test Sri Lanka follow on Sooriyabandara scores century

Sri Lanka under-19’s were trailing by 250 runs with 7 wickets in hand against the Indian Under 19’s on day three of the second youth Test at MRICS in Hambantota yesterday.

Sri Lanka who continued chasing the massive Indian score of 613 replied with 316 runs in 114 overs at the close of their 1st inning. Pasindu Sooriyabandara scored 115 runs in 236 balls with 17 boundaries. Sonal Dinusha scored 51 runs in 144 balls with 8 boundaries. Sandun Mendis scored 49 runs in 106 balls with 8 boundaries. Pasindu and Sonal put on 128 runs stand for the 5th wicket. Earlier, opener Kamil Mishara scored 44 runs in 94 balls with 7 boundaries. Pasindu Sooriyabandara and Kamil Mishara put on 57 for the 4th wicket. Mohith Jangra took 4 wickets for 76 runs. Yatin Mangwani, Ayush Badoni and Siddharth Desai each took 2 wickets.

Sri Lanka under 19’s scored 47 runs for 3 wickets at close.
